ColoradoyalerWeatherby Accumark
Hello
Do the Accumarks live upto the name? Will they shoot 1" or less groups consistently? On Weatherby's site they guaratee the Van guard to shoot under 1". They don't post the same for the Accumark. Waht kind of groups are you Accumark owners getting?
Thanks
Mark

phurley5I shoot an Accumark in .257 Wby and it is a real shooter. I have shot many one holers, meaning three shots touching at 100 yards, with it over the years. My rifle likes the larger bullets from 110 to 120 grains. For paper cutting it likes the Berger 110 and the Nosler ballistic tip that is coated. My hunting bullets are the Nosler partitions in 115 and 120 grain, and recently the 100 and 115 grain Barnes TSX's. I don't think Weatherby still produces the Accumark, I could be wrong.

Good shooting.

Actually the standard vanguard only has a 1-1/2" guarantee. The extra cost vanguard MOA has the 1" guarantee.
