This would be a very nice classic to take to Africa on PG. Hard to believe there is still one of these around 'as new'.

ClaymanI dunno about you guys, but a 40+ year old rifle that's never been fired seems like a travesty to me. I'd prefer buying it if they said, "fired a lot and taken a lot of game."
The "no safe queens" policy is still in full effect.

Alberta Canuckif it had the original stock and front sight, I'd buy it in a heart beat or even quicker. I shot my first Canadian moose with one of those in 1968.
I had bought a .223 and the local gun shop said it was the very first of the ZKK series they had seen in the flesh in Edmonton or anywhere else.. Then a few days later they found a brand new 7x57, and we traded straight across.
Even though I finally traded it back to them for a .500/.450 under-lever English (Tolley) double rifle, I have had deep regrets ever since.
I've been looking for an all original twin to my rifle ever since, new or used, and have never found one.
Too soon old and too late wise here.
My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

Idaho SharpshooterClayman,
I can fix that for you. Just buy the rifle and send it and $50K and I will get it to Africa and do everything from Eland and Leopard thru plains game with it for you.
For a small additional cost, I can get you a DVD with a couple hundred pictures of me with the rifle and the game. A good Photo Shop techie can transpose your face pretty easy.
Rich
Dings and small scratches for a reasonable additional sum

There is a special place in Heaven for someone of your generosity.
I was just going to refuse that offer as beneath me.
