Anyone shooting a 300 Weatherby out of a Mauser M03
If so, please share any experiences on loads, seating depth, etc. Getting ready to load for mine.

Austin, I just picked one up as well. If you could pass on what you find out, I'd appreciate it. I don't expect the M03 barrels will be very difficult to get shooting well, as they're made in the same plant with the Blaser barrels, which always seem to shoot extremely well.

If it's a SAAMI spec chamber (i.e. long freebore) you can use any 300 Wby data. If it doesn't have the extra freebore you can probably start with 300 Win Mag data and go from there.

How much freebore do Weatherby rifles have? I plan to measure mine before starting.
