Maine WoodsRe Federal TSX
I have hand loaded in the past and will agian, but am going to RSA Aug. 1 and just wanted to shoot factory ammo as I have too many other things going on right now to get back into loading. I could never find any post on factory TSX so here is my report. Model 70 supergrade III 30-06 24" barrel 1 in 10 twist 180 Gr. Fed. factory phenomenal accuracy! 2 shots one hole 3 rd. shot perfecty centered low 1/2 inch last 2 shots touching but level with first 2 left 1/2 inch. Last 2 shots blew out to over 1 inch what was headed toward a 1/2 MOA group 3 shot group was! So if anyone else needs to shoot factory try Federal TSX.

BCSteveI used Federal TSX in im my 7mm Rem Mag last year to get my moose. Excellent results. An interesting note, the load was a 160gr. I pulled a bullet just for fun and it was a boat tail. Barnes is not supposed to make a boat tail 160gr for the 7mm!? It must be a special run they make for Federal.

Terry BlauwkampWe used the 160 gr TSX in RSA last month, and it was an auwsome performer.
I even think I will leave my 300 Win home next year and use the 7mm with TSX instead. Kills just as well and kicks a lot less.
