Big1Lost,

My son uses the 250 gr GS in his 338 win mag.

I have watched him take several deer and one cow elk. The deer were all DRT...nice half dollar sized exit wound.

He hit the cow elk just behind the shoulder from about 120 yds broadside. She took two steps and folded up. Good exit wound as well.

They appear to work very well and are very accurate.

I don't think you would be disappointed with them.

Cheers

At 338-06 vel, the 350gr GS is quite "hard". I have only wetpack tested them, but they will certainly hold together well @ those speeds & should do well at 338winmag vel.

I have used them in 7mm, .300mag, and .338mag and yes they are stout.

Year back I used the 285 grn. in my .375. They shot well enough, but I thought they were too hard for use on Elk. I have not used the newer version.
