Mark, I would echo NYRifleman's comments and add that as much as I like Remington bolt actions, if you are not a "bolt action elitist", give the Remington 7600 a look see. I got my first one in 35 Whelen when they first came out and I am even more impressed with the rifle than I am in the cartridge, which I hold in high regard. A little off topic but I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
