bluefishWork Guns I've Known
Thanks, Angus. It is a MK II SS which began life as a 270. Our own dpcd did the ss Douglas barrel in no 3 contour finished at 24" and, at my request, slimmed down the stock appreciably and hollowed it out for weight savings.
NECG irons and factory rings. I also have an NECG peep sight should I wish on really bad days for woods walking. Traded a client for the install of sights and Cerakote. 8 lbs 12 oz as it sits.
Will be having dpcd make her twin in 7x57 soon. He significantly altered how the stock feels in hand with his work and I look forward to getting a nice load worked up this spring.
Thanks for posting, Angus. I think this rifle would be equally at home in your part of the world as here in Maine.

Angus MorrisonI agree, that’s a beautiful and very functional build in a chambering that’s very popular up here. I’m a big fan of Rugers, especially their stainless guns, appreciate you sharing it she’s a beauty.
