UplandhunterWhat to do and who to do it
I have a Remington 700 300 RUM. I like the caliber, however, I am having trouble with the gun. I wouuld like to have it accurized and if need be rebarrelled. Who would you suggest do the work? I have already put a Timney trigger and a HS Precision Stock on the rifle. It is topped with a Swarovski 4X12X50 Scope with Leupold rings. What else can I do to increase accuracy?

ArgaliUplandhunter,
It depends on what you mean by having trouble. What parameters of accuracy do you expect? Using factory or handloads? How many rounds have been fired through the barrel? How is it bedded, rings & mounts installed; ect? There are several smiths that may help you but it may be something simple that has just been overlooked.

LJSInvestigate Hill Country Rifles. They will fine tune stubborn rifles to shoot sub MOA with factory ammo for a very modest fee.

KevinHI will second Hill Country Rifles. They do excellent work and have done numerous jobs for me. I have had both full customs built, and there accurizing done also. Hope this helps

Michael RobinsonI have a friend in SE Alberta with a Christensen Arms carbon fiber barrelled .300 RUM. I HATE Remmys. But I like that one.
Try Christensen Arms.
