Where can I buy 358 Winchester brass or shells. I tried Midway and Midsouth. Thanks for the help in advance. I am having my model 7 rebarreled for 358 Winchester and need to get some loads ready for when I get it back.

You can order .358 Win ammunition from the Ammo Bank (http://www.ammobank.com) and have it delivered directly to your home. I routinely buy new 200 gr. Winchester Silvertips at several sporting good stores here in the inland northwest. CP.

just resize 308 brass. put some sizing lube in the case mouth, and run em through the 358 die. It WILL require some force, but it will also be nice cases. Expect to "rivit" a couple, as you get started.

that's how I started all mine, till i got some 358 brass.

Winchester only runs this brass once a year as I recall. I bought a couple hundred from either Midway or Midsouth.

I have a batch of .358 brass but I use instead nickled 30.06 brass-- here's how take the decapping assembly out of your sizing die --then just kneck down the 30.06 brass--you get a long neck -- then cut off reasonably close to the right length --trim and firefrom and there your are very pretty brass that works very well and looks great -if you are interested in this way of course [Big Grin] but it does work and work well

You hit a soft spot. The 358 Win is a fantastic round for most hunting applications. I have one in a rare Ruger 77 RS carbine. It is a extremely accurate with any 200 or 225 load. I like the 200 Hornady RN for whitetails here in PA. Everyone shot with this bullet went straight down. I had shot two with the Nosler 225 BT and they ran 80 to 100 yds. All were boiler room hits. I load IMR4064 @ 49 gr. and neck the bullet out to the rifling. Check Graf & Son for Brass.
