8mm (.323) load data
My wife (bless her heart) picked up some 8mm bullets at Cabelas. They're Remington 185gr SP's. I'm looking for some load data but can't find any thing for the 185gr bullets.
Can anyone help me?
I've read that the powder to use for the "heavier" bullets in 8mm is H380. What do ya say?

What cartridge are you loading for?

I'm using IMR 4064 with 180 grain bullets on my 8X57 Mausers. I have a sporterized K98 Mauser that shoots just under 1' groups with 43 grains of IMR 4064.

If you have a copy, Nosler's Reloading Guide No. 5 has 8x57JS data for the 180 gr Ballistic Tip. That data would be a good starting point. Usual caveat about backing the powder charge down a little and working up.
