I visited Sweden last week for a beaver hunt -left with one gun and returned with four! I picked up two Huskies, mod 640 cal 8x57 JS, and a 9.3x57 that I bought from Husky. Man life is good...
One 8mm will be reborn as a 8x68S, the barrel is on order from Lothar-Walther

ForrestBI'm definitely up for a Swedish beaver hunt. I would go for a couple of not-so-Huskies though.

browningguyHaving visited a ship yard in Pori several times I can tell you the Finnish beaver hunts aren't so bad either.

Wizard78How many legs did the beavers you were hunting, have? I too would like to see pics of rifles.
Swedish beavers are high quality! Two or four legs -makes no difference.
I´ll leave the rest to your imagination.

I think it's notable that you can go from Finland to Sweden, buy weapons and carry them back across an international border without getting arrested for some silly law.

The EU has some advantages, not many but this is one of them.
Swedish beavers then again have always been an asset!
