Rick RHornady's 9.3 bullet ?
Well they've finally listed them on their website and I've finally broken into that box I got from Midway last month.

Initally it's a good looking protected point bullet that should work for anything in my neck of the woods (whitetail, black bear and I recently learned of a location with feral hogs

).
Link to 9,3 InterlockWhile trying to put some of these into Graf 9.3x62 cases I've run into a minor question. Why did they put the cannelure so far forward? If you crimp as indicated you end up with a COL of @ 3.13" whereas if you use the 286gr Nosler partition and crimp in the groove you end up at @ 3.225".

Heck the Hornady bullets almost interfere with the primer much less reduce powder capacity!
Am I missing a reason one of the other 9.3 cartridges needs the bullet crimped at a very short OAL or am I just outta line?

Husqvarna M98I do belive that the bullet was designed for the x74R and as such the cannelure is suited just fine.
Ignore the nice ring and get on loading then up.

That's just what I did

Figured someone would come up with good reasons while I was getting my beauty sleep.

I just ordered 100 myself to try in my 9.3x62. Based on the long throat in my rifle and the magazine length I will be ignoring the cannelure too.

HUNTSvapodog,
That's what happened with the 250 Nosler AB. The COL ended up at 3.470". Bullet was seated with .366" into the neck.
