.277 Hornady 130grn SST minimum impact velocities
Does anyone have any experience using this bullet on whitetail at either long range 300yds + or at lower impact velocities. The reason I ask Is I would like to find out if this bullet can be relied upon to "do it's thing" at impact velocities of around but not less than 2000 feet per second. The reason I ask is I'm trying to determine the max range to shoot at deer with my new 6.8spc Encore barrel

Or the things they could be changing who do you thinks gonna care

2000 fps with the 130SST should expand well. They are fairly fragile construction.
