I had no intention buying another long barrled gun but when I saw the stick on this gun I could not pass up on it.

For a stock out the box factory gun this one beats the simlar priced Ruger guide gun hands down !

I have several. Each shoot less than an inch and are good looking. I suggest you look at the actual gun or very good pictures before you buy one. They are top quality and I am very pleased with mine.

I have a matched set of 4 SuperGrades in 22/250, .270, .300 Win Mag and .375 H&H mag.
They are beautiful, slick to operate, well finished and at least 3 of them are tack drivers. I also have a Super Grade in .338 Win Mag that is a very nice stick of wood and a real tack driver. All are fantastic rifles right out of the box and worth whatever you have to pay for them.

I have seen a few Super Grades that had so so wood but all 5 of mine have great wood, lucky me.

I have several Classic Super Grades, including a few SC/BACO/FNchesters. The 338 loves Reloader 15 and most any 210 grain bullet. Easily under an inch for three shots.

So far I haven't found a 225 grain load that matches the lighter load. But I am sure there is one!

Wood varies a bit on them and some of the checkering is criminal, but if you find a good one, buy it!

That's a pretty tough line-up of cartridges Snellstrom!
I'm jealous.

Do you have a set of "Nearly-Perfect Rifle Battery" Supergrades? I would love to have a 375 from these sets. Wish Winchester offered them as a regular item in the Super Grade line.

Yes that is the set I have, the .375 is slim, trim and fairly light not like the clunky stock on the Express Rifle. The .375 is the only rifle in my set with sights.

I don't own any of this model. However, there is a gun shop an hour from here that has a one in .243W and the woodgrain, metal finish and fit and finish on it is very impressive for the price range.

The newer Cabelas 458 Win Mags were also slimmer and trimmer. Really nice rifles. Just need a new floorplate...
