The 9.3 x 62 Goes Hog Hunting in Georgia
I've been invited to hunt hogs for a week on a friend's deer lease near Richland, Georgia..

Six of us will be hunting the 2000 acre lease for a week starting next Saturday...

I've never SHOT a wild hog, but I hope to change that very soon...I'll be using my CZ 550 American in 9.3 x 62 with 250 grain Barnes X bullets...

Hopefully I'll have an autopsy report or two when I return, along with an ice chest or two of wild pork...

Any of you 9.3 fans have an experience with this round on wild hogs/boars..??.. So far all I have shot with mine are two caribou and a whitetail, all of which were instant kills with minimal meat loss...

Major Caliber
That should work very well. I built a 35 Whelen with hog hunting in mind, I have used a .308 in the past, and feel it is inadequate for the job.
