Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:
"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

Biggs300Robert, thanks for the tip! Just ordered 200. I hope they have a POA/POI that is close to the 286 grain Partitions which I normally load. If so, they will be great for practice and probably hunting as well.

setchMaybe a silly question, but what constitutes a blemish in a bullet?
...and what effect will it have on the bullet?
ps. I'm not a reloader (yet), so just trying to learn

Well, it depends on the manufacturer. Nosler has been known to put the wrong color plastic tip in the B-Tip or Accubond. I have some Hornady 7mm's that had the cannelure in the wrong place (off by 5/100" or something). I've also bought bullets that had no cannelure at all (they were supposed to but didn't).
A blem could also be that a few of the bullets were tarnished. Or the shipping box they were in broke open.
In general a Blem does not affect the performance or accuracy of the bullet. It's basically a cosmetic difference.
Which means they are dang cheap to buy and plink with!

Robert
