Any love for the lowly .35 Remington?
I took my dad's old Marlin on a bear hunt last fall, it did just fine.

Pretty is as pretty does.

The beauty of the Standard is its ability to work as a pump or semi-auto with the flip of a switch.
It was the perfect answer to a question nobody asked.

You have a Savage 340 in 35 Remington? That must be one of a kind!

Sorry, my kid's gun. CRS setting in? Actually 1/2 of a 340. Like a Model 170

Savage 170s in 35 Rem are pretty uncommon.

I have a Savage 170 in 35 Rem, # C4301xx, that is a surprisingly good shooter, particularly with the Hornady LeverEvolution load. I had a Savage 170 in 30-30 with the barrel cut back to 18" that was accurate and handy, but one of the hands on my MIL's ranch offered me far more than it was worth, so I let it go to someone who would use it.

I picked up a first year production Rem 760 in .35 Rem. I've only shot paper with it but intend to tackle some Texas Porkers with it soon.
