338 Marlin Brass now available
If anyone needs any .338 Marlin brass, Hornady has been shipping it to suppliers for at least the last 10 days.

Midsouth Shooter's supply, for instance, now has it in stock.

(I am not in any way connected to them business-wise, except as a customer. Just thought maybe the info might be of use to someone.)

Cool..
I spoke to Marlin last week, and they said the .338 MXLR rifle won't be in production again until next year..
I've been wanting to get my hands on one to check it out. Looks like a great rifle to take out in the muck and the yuck..

I see it as the modern replacement for the .348 Winchester. An excellent cartridge for those who want to hit black bears and LARGE deer "up alongside the haid" in woodsy environs with a nice handly lever gun, and who don't want to choose between rainbow trajectories or really heavy recoil.

My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.
