Wild@67Question: 6.5 x 55
I am in the process of selling some of my rifles and am having a problem finding fair prices for this rifle. Winchester fwt classic
6.5 x 55. Cannot find even one listed anywhere.
Rifle is mint and is a Conn. Gun. Thanks in advance, Phil

rodellThe last few I've seen sold went for $850-$900 each. For the right person and a perfect specimens, somewhat more.
I have one. It is a joy to carry and shoot.

Wild@67Thank you for your information. I really like mine but I'm moving and can't take all of them with me. Regards, Phil

Sagebrush BurnsIs it push feed or controlled feed (classic)? The classic configuration is (almost) always more valuable.

Wild@67I'm really not sure how to indenify which feed system
it has, Is there a way to do this. Phil

BiebsPhil, along the right side of the bolt body, there will be a flat steel bar that runs the length of the bolt, and ends at the chamber end with the "claw". That's a controlled round feed action. The term "Classic" is used to identify the CRF Model 70s made since the 1990s.

Wild@67Hello Biebs, thanks for the info, yes it has the claw, i forgot that the push bolt had no flat steel peice. I think I will list it
as I no longer use it. Went on one hunt on the King ranch
for a cull buck then put away. Thanks again, Phil
