I've not seen many model Ms go for $2k. Depending on the shape it is in and how much folks care that it has a new pad and is re-blued will make a big difference. Also, the Model Ms are not as highly sought after as others, especially in '06 as there are lots of those floating around. The BB has it as: $1500 at 100%; $1300 at 98%; $900 at 95%.

Based on how quickly you want to unload it, I might start it at $1300 and be prepared to drop it a bit to get it to sell.

...just my 2cents

You are so right. There are so many guns at prices that nobody will buy and they just sit there for months and months. This is especially true with the MS rifles as they are a bit of an acquired taste that don't always bring a full BB value.

So the trick is obviously finding the sell price and working towards it if your's is sitting there....and you really want to sell it.

I would say $1400 max in today's market and that's on the upper end if the gun is in immaculate condition. Without optics, I would say $900-1000 is what the market will bear. Sorry for the bad news.

I paid $2900.00 for a 1903 6x54 W/ Kahles in a QD,also a 1905 in 8x56 w/ a Kahles in a QD for $1500.00. But they are more classics.You might want to peruse gunsinternational.com. They have a good listing of M/S rifles + they have a quick turnover.Best wishes.

Even here in NZ the above comments look realistic.

I own 2 older 1903 & 1910 model Mannlicher Schoenauers.

Beautiful rifles.
