M-77 tang safety whats the going price ?
I have a nice 30-06 thats got one smooth action and a factory adjustable trigger. Factory SS 22" barrel. Heres a picture. I'm keeping the scope.

There is an unfired 77r in 270 on the Ruger forum with box and papers. Asking price is $500.00. Due to the fact that your gun is not all original and the replacement cost of a 77 tang stock is $235.00 from the factory. I would say $375.00 to $400.00 would be a fair price.

I dunno about that, many here would see the stock as a plus...not as nice as a factory one, but a plus. I would say $450 or even a bit more, depends on how nice is "nice".
The other one loses a few points for being a 270, but is awfully nice and LNIB. I see people all the time pay an extra $75 to $100 for the box and papers. I still got all of my new or as new in the box(es) up in the loft.
