vapodogneither of these cartridges will produce 2450'/sec in a lever action rifle. Both however will produce the ft-lbs you require.

Where? At the muzzle? You'll need a strong rifle, like the 1895 Winchester in .30/'06 or a Browning BLR. If you insist on big bullets, get a BLR in .450 Marlin! In the BLR, I'm sure you could achieve 2450 with a 300-grain bullet. I get over 2450 with the 300 grainer in my Ruger No. 1 .45/70, but it is stronger than lever-action rifles except for the BLR....
