Tikka Rules
I am always amazed at how well my Tikka SS in 30-06 shoots. It is an out of the box rifle. At 100 yards, yesterday it shot groups of 1/2" to 3/4" at 100 yards. I was using 165 nosler handloads and some military match ammo = accuracy with both loads.

Next to me was a guy shooting prone with a 4K fancy bull barrel rifle, with a fancy target scope. He wrote more than he shot, but I am dammed if his groups were that much better!

Makes you wonder why you would spend 2-3k on a so called custom rifle.

Tikka rifles has allways been know for being accurate...in all calibers. I use to have a Tikka Continental(euro version) which basically shoot hole in hole at 200 meter with canadien imperial ammo it was called. Caliber was 30-06 too.. That was 15 years ago.
Today I believe a good serious huntingrifle should have controllfeed and a big extractorclaw
and can be feeded from the top with no detachable magazine.. No plastics only steel and a good piece of wood, good barrel with metallic sights regulated for the caliber/bullet.

Many books have been written of things you wondering about.. so if you can`t see why anybody would spend 2-3k on a rifle its perfectly natural clap...I don`t have to say much more..but be happy with your Tikka Cool

Reddy - I'm glad someone else has discovered the accuracy of Tikka. I've have had one just like yours for about 3 years now and it's one of my favorite "bolt" rifles. Mags

Should we start a petition to abolish the possession and further manufacturer of any form of rifle other than the Tikka?

Make it a universal law that if you want a rifle, we will for evermore be limited to just one choice, the Tikka?

I'm wondering if Mr. 4K fancy bull-barreled 'so called custom rifle' owner is bad mouthing your choice of gun on some other forum? Or is it feasible that he is home perfecting his next handload recipe hoping it will be capable of 1 hole groups?
Nah, probably not.
