Re: Remington Classic
What's the expected price for one of the new Remington Classics in 8X57?

I imagine we'll sell them for around $570? I'm not really sure at this point. Remington tends to raise their prices on new offerings which affects our selling price. I'll let you know.

guess there's no way they'd make one in 284 win? Bet they'd sell like hotcakes

Yep, has the J lock. I don't think that's going away anytime soon.

Too bad... I guess I'll stick with my douglas barreled 700 I had built a few years back. What a shooter! And no j-lock...

Lofter:

I've got a 284 barreled action for sale. It's on a 721 action (#4 pac-nor barrel) w/dies and has less than 75 rounds through it. Got a longer throat in the spirit of the 6.5-284 Norma.

Nothing says "Classic" like a J-Lock.

Bob257- are you a dealer? Do you have a shop or work at one? Where in PA are you? Thanks.

Guess it really doesn't matter what caliber it comes out in then!
