mark65x55Anyone shooting a 300 SAUM?
I was looking around on the net and found a Remington 2003 RMEF rifle in 300 SAUM. I like the way the rifle looks so I did a little research on the 300. It seems to be a bit more than my 06 but not quite a 300win., which isn't a bad place to be. So, whos shooting one and what do you think of it.

recoilpadI have a Remington 673 in 300 SAUM. It is a wonderful rifle and very handy. The cartridge is stout. I have only shot the 180 gr. core lokts. It is loud and makes a fuss when you pull the trigger. I have not hunted anything yet. With the iron sights, I can put three shots in an inch and a half at twenty five yards. The gun is probably more accurate than I am. The trigger is a little stiff also. I feel this would be an excellent all around hunting rifle/cartridge from deer on up to elk.

fredj338The M700Ti is available now in 7mm & .300saum. I don't NEED a new rifle but a .300saum in a 7# rifle has HIGH COUNTRY ELK RIG written all over it!

The latest Nosler & Swift manuals have data on it.
