Looking to load the 7x64 up for some longer range shooting.

Been steered towards a Berger VLD 165gr over N160. ANyone got any other suggestions?

What kind of distance average do you have in mind and what is the twist rate of the barrel (or the make of the rifle)?

Hi Gerrard, thinking of going out to 1000yds if possible. Club has a .5 MOA gopher target it would be fun to plug.

That would be fun indeed. Let me have the twist rate of the barrel and do a recommendation of what to use. Apart from the bullet to use, I probably have load data as well.

Hi Gerrard. Twist is 1 in 8.5 and it shoots 165gr Geco soft points best as a hunting load.

Do you reckon A-Max in 160gr might be good?
