Can a 338 RUM fit in an 03-A3?

I'm sitting on a custom 338 Win, in an 03-A3. I don't have a 338 RUM cart to see if it works. Any one else tried it?

I have an 03-A3 and I have a 338 RUM in a Rem 700. I don't see how the cartridge would fit as it is full length magnum. I also would not want to fire a 338 RUM in an 03-A3 given the SAMI pressures in a 338 RUM.

You couldn't pay me to shoot a 338 RUM on an 03-A3. O3-A3's can be fine rifles and the 338 RUM is a fine round but they are not fine for each other..........................DJ
