Charlie64.270 precision factory ammo?
.
Anybody have thoughts or experience on/with precision factory ammo for .270 shooting out to 250 - 300 yards ?
Looking at 130 grain factory loads and appreciate that each and every rifle digests differently but should would like to get some opinions, views and shared experiences.
Thanks!
Charlie
Ps if this is a rehash of an existing or old post sorry however ....

DIsAbout any factory ammo in 270 can be used at those ranges if your gun likes the ammo. I have had good luck with Rem. 130 corelocks through the years. 300 yds with a 270 is easy. Buy some and try it in your gun.

BaxterBThe vortex 130ttsx shoots identical (meaning no scope adjustment) to my hand loads, about .75 or better.

We used to use those too and they work, but they're really slow. About 300fps less than my admittedly warm handloads

LHeym500I love the Winchester Supreme Blacbox 140 grain Combined Technologies Accubond.
Never shot game with it past 115 yard. But I did a head shot at that distance.
We fill that safe explosive in little Dixie cups and shoot them at 100 yards.

TexKDI use the Winchester Supreme 140 as well. Hill Country Rifles set my rifle set up, and did the work and the original sight in work with the Winchester 140s. The package with its Leupold shot about 0.6 inch 3 shot group using those 140s. That is way good enough for me.
Shooting those Winchester factory loads in that rifle over the chronograph they were right on the 2950 fps that Winchester claims. Good stuff.
