30-06 snap caps in a 338-06

I haven't seen snap caps for a 338-06 in any catologue I have. I'm just wondering if there's any reason I can't use 30-06 snap caps instead. They are available at any gun shop and would be a cheap and easy alternative I think. Any thoughts?

Should work just fine. The head space should be the same.
