el ToroHill Country Rifles accurizing service
I'm thinking about sending in my new Winnie M70 .270 in to Hill Country for their accurizing service. The claim they will make the rifle shott MOA with factory ammo and include the targets and ammo used to prove it. Anyone done this? Good results? Worth the money?

nyriflemanI have a Win M-70 Classic Sporter that I sent to Hill Country. The rifle showed promise in its initial break in, so I had HCR re-stock (in their Bridges synthetic), accurize, and scoped it with a Leupold 4.5x14 LR. Caliber is .300 Weatherby. I never could duplicate their targets with factory loads. However, with 180 TSX handloads it is a genuine 1/2 MOA rifle. It was with that rifle I took on a trip to Montana and made shots of 400yds+ on elk and mulie. I plan on having HCR make me a duplicate rifle in .338 WM.

KLM300I had them accurize a Ruger M77MK2 in 220 swift for me a couple years ago. The rifle would not shoot under 1 1/2 inch not matter what load i shot in it. When i got it back i tried one of the better handloads i had tried before an was very suprised. I shot several 3 shot groups under 1/2" inch, the smallest was .330 center to center. Well worth the money to me. KARRY

Roland1HCR accurized 2 .375 H&H for me – the both shoot ½ MOA at 100 Yards. No BS.
Call them, and ask for Matt, he will answer all your questions.

muygrandeYeah, to the above, but get to know CHARLENE, she is "da man"! HCR does good work and the best thing is this is a great time of year to give then your business! They have done five or six of my rifles and they will do more - not cheeeeeep but good.

bwanamrmDitto. Had them do a .280 Remington and a .300 Weatherby for me and they are now two of the most accurate guns I own.

FOsteologyHCR is right in my back yard. They've accurized three rifles for me so far. 22-250 and .280 shot under 1/2 MOA @ 100 yards consistantly with factory loads, and the .350 Rem Mag shoots under MOA consistently with factory ammo and under 3/4 MOA with handloads.
