My favorite long range rifle caliber is the 338-378 weatherby .Its super flat shooting light weight in the accumark and hits super hard on big game .The 338 lapua kinda knocked it out of the game though.I am even having trouble finding diesbfor the 338-378 now .It does even better with a 30 or 32 inch barrel .

Its not bad at all with the weatherby accubrake .Its less than the 338 win mag for sure probally like a 300 win mag .The 250 grain nosler pargition is the best bullet for it i have found .I also load 105 grs of r25 with 200 grain bulletz and it kicks less than most 243s .I took a 11 year old caribou hunting and he killed two sith one shot at 450 yards .
