Does the (wooden stocked) 202 have a free floated fore-end?

Yes both mine are free floating

Yes, floating generously all the way. In fact, the 202's forend is not bedded at all ; it bolts directly in the receiver via a long frontal screw and it only serves as a hold on to the rifle.
