...it should have been the .358 WSM, but I like the 8mm... I wouldn't use anything less than the 200grain though.

Thanks for all the information. I too like the idea of beltless but really like the idea of the shortie. Does anyone have experience with this family of cartridges? Do they feed well and do they perform as expected?
