Ken Clinethey can keep it that way as far as I'm concerned.
Their standard action magnums in lefty weren't worth a damn, and the short mag newer versions were only a small step better. I owned both.

phurley5Dave ----- I have a left handed grandson and grandaughter. I have been looking for a lefty .270 WSM for a couple of years now. Just found one on Gunsamerica. A never been fired New Haven Featherweight model that looks great. I don't think they are making the lefty at South Carolina yet, but surely they will. Do a search on Gunsamerica and see what you find. Good shooting.

ghostrider272Check Gunbroker.com. I don't think there are any 270 WSMs, but they do have several long action rifles.

chuck375I hope they start soon. I'd love to buy my oldest son a lefty synthetic/stainless M70 in 375 H&H as a gift when he gets out of the Rangers in a year or so.
Regards,
Chuck

Would you care to elaborate on why that is your opinion?
I have a couple of .300 or ,375 length ones and have had no action probkems. Never a jam or miss feed, feeding smooth, Bolt travel is smooth. drilled right and etc.
Now, the tupperware stock on one is a piece of nunk and the wood one could have been bedded better

Paul ReedClayman and I spoke to the Winchester reps at the NRA meeting in Pittsburg. According to them the left handed actions on on the board preparing for production now with planned introduction late this year or early next. According to the rep it is a definite. Perhaps the new version of the Winchester 70 in left hand will be up to the quality of the current SC models...all reports are saying they are very well made. Sight tight you southpaws...
