700 nitrobrowning blr 325 wsm????
im not usually one for small guns but i figure i should get a nice light bush gun and figured a 325 wsm in a browning blr would be a nice rifle shooting some 220 grain+ bullets
at 2800fps+
dose any one one one of these rifles and what do you think of it
accuracy......handling......

sharps54A buddy had one for a week or so. I got to fire it a few times. The recoil wasn't bad and it was pretty handy for having the power of a 8mm Rem. Mag. That said the iron sights left something to be desired and he had some issues getting his scope mounted (due to his choice of scope and rings

) so I didn't get to do real accuracy testing. It seemed to shoot as well as my Winchester 94 at 80 yrds offhand with iron sights (all shots in 8" plate) and didn't kick any different, although I am one who finds the Winchester straight stock 30-30 lever guns to kick quite a bit compared to other rifles. Anyhow he sold it because he liked his 8mm Rem Mag better and has now settled on a 1895 .405 Winchester (one of the new ones) as his levergun.

I once had a BLR in .358 Win. It was very handy, a 1 MOA shooter, and produced over 2400 FPS with a handloaded Speer 250 grain bullet. I only used it for deer, and decided it was OVERKILL on whitetails.
It would have made a great elk/moose gun! The .325 in that rifle should be even better!

pagris700 nitro: Having owned a BLR for 25 years, I can say that they are well made, sweet handling and quite accurate for hunting purposes. The triggers aren't great ( heavy and creepy), but you will only notice that at the range. It should be an excellent choice for a lefty. I like them!
