butchlochal hartley - eye candy
Hal Hartley was a gunmaker from 50's and early 60's. he was well known during the times of len brownell, al biesen etc. Hal was a master of masters in the art of checkering and carving. His choice of woods was flame grained maple. i found this one this weekend. its a perfect example of his work. in the barrel channel is hal hartley 1958. evidently whoever owned it never used it, condition is perfect.
