CrazyquikBrno factory sporterized Mausers
Has anyone heard of these? I read on another board that Brno was taking milsurp VZ24 actions and building sporters out of them, in a variety of calibers. Also, since they're a factory and originally built many of these, they are doing it at very reasonable prices.
So, does anyone know *anything* about them? I dont even know who imports them. I thought EAA did, but thier website turns up nothing

I can't find a Brno webpage either.

KurtCI had one of their full stock 98's in 9.3x62. They built them on their own VZ-24 actions and finished them nicely. They were made for the European market and were not imported by EAA. A few small importers have brought them in over the years, but I think Brno is currently being restructured as a company. The one is the pic was made around 1999 or 2000. I added the buterknife handle and the ERA sights.

Glen71The ones I saw on the auction sites were either barreled actions or rifles with syntheric stocks. They were quite reasonably priced, but I have not seen any in a while.

GBFAre you talking about the "B98" version ? A sporterized M98 from Brno. If so, I had one in my hands just before Yule. It felt decent, the wood wasnt bad at all and it is a true M98 indeed. I am even thinking of buying one sooner or later.
