wihunterAny More Kimber Long Action News?
I keep hearing about a new Kimber long action based on the 8400.
Does anyone have any more info? Calibers? Barrel lengths? Rifle weights?
Have heard this October for a date. I would think there would be more info around by now if this is true.
Anyone??

Right now we have a project to make a rifle chambered in the caliber but at this tiem there is no guaranty of this caliber being offered ever. The ballistics of the 300 WSM are identical to the 300 Win mag, if that can be an option for you.

Subject: Medium length cartridges???
Dear Sirs;
I have heard a rumour that Kimber will be introducing the 8400 in medium length catridges such as 30-06 and 300 Win Mag this fall. Is this true? I have a hunt scheduled for Alaska in Sep, 2006 and would dearly love to have an 8400 Montana in .300 Win Mag. Please let me know if it is possible to have a dealer put a deposit on one of these now?
Sincerely,
