Dr. LouRon, you're probably correct. It looks like it's had a rough life. You did both sides a favor. FWIW, I am also a fan of the 9.3x62. Happy Holidays.

jstevensI prefer the 286 Nosler partition in the 9.3x62, just to get that extra bit of penetration on a difficult angle. I actually have shot some with the 286 NP, as well as with the .375 H&H and a .416 Rigby. It is a good way to get to know your rifle in the field.
