I had a splinded little M-7ML custom shop production 20" manlicher laminate 308win. I bought it new for $925.00 plus tax because I liked it`s fit,finish, and feel! It was the only Remington that I ever really liked! With little fuss (L.O.P. & trigger adj.) it shot 1/2" groups with 4x scope @ 50 yds. I soon suspected it would handle even better with .050"of unnessarry metal weight removed from it`s barrel! So I had Siegrist Gun Shop rebore it 358-14 twist, and I`m now happier then a pig in shit! Whats another $180.00 when your having fun? The conversion was worth the expense! With the right bullet & load my 358 can do any thing I`ll ever ask of it,and thats more than I can say for my cute Sako 308!
