Helped the nephew sight in his new 30/06 today
Savage 110, Left hand, composite stock. Nothing special, he did have a good Leupold scope mounted, the shocker came with the ammo we shot, Reminton, Federal, Winchester 150 grain......virtually the same point of impact!

I've NEVER had such an easy time putting an new rifle on target! the 180's in all brands are ok, but the 150's were amazing...

If you didn't check the headstamp..I swear, you could shoot reasonable groups mixing the ammo, now for a an ice pack, and a little ibuprofen!

I also shoot left-handed and have shot the Savages for years. They are great rifles. I just had a 7 mag rebareled because it finally gave it up. He will have many good years of service from that gun and for deer the 150 is great.
