Hi:

My favorite 300 RUM Factory load is the Remington 180 grain & 200 Grain Nosler Partitions..... I shot 14 African Plains Game with the 180's.... almost all were one shot kills.

At 100 yards it shoots sub MOA...Remington stopped making this ammo, replaced it with their new CoreLocks...but it is still available on dealer shelves..

whats everybody's favorite load out of the 300 ultra mag? my buddy does not reload,but i may load some shells for him.does anyone have a fav. factory load??

I have been using Federal Premium with 180 gr. Trophy Bonded Bear Claws. I have been getting .5 MOA accuracy from them.

I have been hand loading for 25 years but, what's the point with that kind of accuracy.

88.0gr H1000 under a 200gr SMK
90.0gr Retumbo under a 216gr Clinch River

Both .2-.25moa consistently.

My favorites are 89grains of IMR 7828 or 95grains of RL25 with a 180 grain nosler partition;or 91.5 grains of RL25 with the 200 grain nosler accubond
