tjrobertsgot my.270.
I put a couple of threads up about wanting a .270. I was leaning towards a Remington mtn rifle.
But I found one I think I'll like better. I wanted a light weight with at least 22 inches of barrel. I found a pretty cool Huskvarna. All original as far as I can tell and a Nikon pro staff 3x9. It is a commercial 98 action. I don't think it's a fn. It has the little tabb bolt release side safety decent European style stock. I will try and post some pics. Tommorow....tj3006

snowmanSounds like you have a Husqvarna model 1600 which is similar to a small ring mauser. Very good action. They are usually very good shooters.

sharps4590Can't imagine you'll be disappointed in either the cartridge or the rifle. I've had a 270 since the early 1970's but don't use it these days, other cartridges captured my interest. I like the Husky's on the small ring and have one of those in 9.3 X 57. Nice rifle for the price. Pretty darn good cartridge too!
