Rifles on Pistol Platforms

I'm thinking about getting a pistol in a 7mm-08 for hunting deer sized game.

I've seen the Weatherby Mark V Compact Firing Platform in a 7mm-08. Are there any other manufacturers that I should look into?

Try http://www.sskindustries.com and http://www.foxridgeoutfitters.com go to the custom shop for calibers and barrels,I have a few TC Encores 2 15"pistol barrels. an 06 & 454casull plus 2 rifle barrels in 243 and S&W 460.

I recommend an off-the-shelf Encore to begin with, if only because all it takes is a screwdriver and a credit card to convert it from a handgun to a pistol, rifle, shotgun, or muzzleloader.
