Berger VLD Target Bullets for Long-range Hunting: Good or Bad?
I've noticed that some "experienced" long-range hunters (over 400 yds) of big game advocate using VLD Berger target bullets. Is this good or bad? Do any of you have personal experience using Berger VLD bullets for hunting big game?

Not sure what caliber your talking about but I hit a doe last year with a 70gr VLD from a 223 at 132yds. I hit her in the head and it was like a hand grenade went off. It blew off half the side of her head. Don't think I'll do that again. She sure waws dead though!!

If you check back a few dozen threads in this section, I put up a thread exactly about this and there was all kinds of feed back.
