Critter_KillerTo sell or not to sell?
I have a savage 16ss in .270WSM. And im thinking of selling it to fund a remington 700adl .270win. Im gonna let it go for about $400. Main reason for selling is fear of the WSM's ammo or lack there of. Scince i dont reload and dont plan to this is a problem. So should i stick it out with the WSm or get a brand new remington? Also is that a fair price for the savage ( execllent condition, 2 seasons old) ?

Dawn2DuskI think there is already a large enough market to see the WSM's stick around for a while, but we all know the .270 Win will be here long after we all are gone...
I wouldn't do anything rash until I started seeing the market do a "Kerry! (i.e. Flip/Flop)...
Yet, if it's a new rifle you want then I think going with the standard medicine 270 Win is a fine choice over any WSM.

Jay JohnsonWell I'd sell in now because it isn't big enough for a boat anchor. The other option is on the Savage a barrel swap is pretty easy just change out your barrel to a more popular caliber.
Choices so many

MajorCaliberI would never trade a fine rifle like the Savage, for a peice of crap Rem 700
