Chuck NelsonRe: Synthetic stock - glass bedding needed?
I would bed any HS stock that I had. For one, the block scratches the heck out of the finish on the bottom of the reciever. For another, that stock needs all the help it can get.

Jay GorskiYou can skim-bed the HS stocks, but not necessary, some fellas on
www.Longrangehunting.com that use the stocks on their LR rifles do it and claim it gets rid of the fliers, these guys are shooting 600yds. and further, my 708(HS sporter stock) shot a 3" group @300yds. last year, the 3 shots were perfect left to right, perfectly spaced, but 3" @300yds., I'll take that, the rifle shoots in the 4s @100yds., so, I'm not touching it, Jay
