The big SwedeParker Hale
I have a PH in 6,5x55, its a light rifle whit a smooth adj. trigger and it shots extremly good. But, who built the action? There are no spanish or belguiqe stamps, just british BNP on the reciver and parker hale on the barrel. Its not a C- ring, swept back bolt handle and alloy floorplate with release in the triggerguard. Could this be an mark-X? Or an unmarkt st. barbara? Serial nr.S355xx.

MasteriflemanI have one very similar in .270 WIN and I believe that they are made by BSA for Parker-Hale. This is, of course, if it only resembles a 98 but, looks more like a HOWA or SAKO. If not, then I don't have a clue.
A lot of (all?) Parker Hales were built on Santa Barbara commercial Mauser actions. The ones I have seen had no indication of the manufacturing origin stamped on the action - or if they did, it was pretty discrete.

The big SwedeThis is a copy of FN M98. I`ve seen some st. barbara whit"spain" on the left side of the tang.
Im gona let my gunsmith put this rifle in an high tec stock (tot. weight 3,1kilo with leup. 2,5-8). Its a good allround rifle.
