krakyRe: Power points?
I've seen 2 tests on bullet expansion done up in magazines in the last 8-10 years. In both tests the pp seemed the best of the NON-Premiums. They seem to open up no matter what and they seem to hold together very well for a basic non partitioned or bonded bullet.

ReloaderThe last Power Point I shot was into a Buck that weighed about 185#. The deer was at a slight quater towards me and the 180grn 30-06 PP went all-of-the-way through the deer and was lodged under the skin on the far side (entrance behind the shoulder and bullet recovered in front of the ham). Upon removal of the slug it was a perfect textbook mushroom. I don't know why it didn't exit at 25 yards but, it still did the job.

Pecos41I've been buying them in bulk packs and shooting them for years. In addition to being a very good bullet, you can save a lot of money buying in bulk.
