One of the neat things that jumped out at me during the SHOT show was Ruger now offering the Hawkeye African package in 338WM and 300WM. This rifle is my favorite configuration in the Ruger line. They have also moved the front sling swivel to a barrel band style which is great. Now if they would only offer it in 9.3x62!

I'd buy one. I've posted that suggestion several times on their "tell the CEO" option on the Ruger website. I've also asked for a Ruger 77RSI in 338 Federal. Maybe some day they will listen.
